To create this realistic effect you will need the following items:

Black and Gold paint and a paint brush. As with the earlier examples this technique works most successfully on a textured surface.

Paint your chosen item with a base coat of Black paint.

Once the Black paint has completely dried, you should then, using a dry brush or sponge, add a thin layer of the gold paint over the textured areas. Keep adding layers of the Gold paint until the desired effect is achieved.
